Outfit: Pink, White, Blue....and Black

Life has been a bit crazed lately, jumping from one environment to another, trying to start in on my taxes, (I am a freelancer so the paperwork can be a bit daunting at this time of the year!), trying to establish both my professional and personal goals for 2010, and finding real ways to execute them.

Anyhow, I was discussing with a friend about how I love the combination of black and navy, even though they technically "clash". I tend to dress a bit plain, but I still love to experiment with lipsticks, here is a bit of neon pink for the Monday afternoon :)

  37. I'm with you! I was on board with black and navy before black and brown were acceptable. Hmmmm, are they acceptable, or is that just in my own head?? Either way, LOVE the lipstick...wish I could pull that off but my blond hair won't allow it. At least not without looking like some antiquated version of Malibu Barbi. Blargh is right.

  74. Oh I just KNOW what you're talking about!! I'm a freelancer (and a student at once) and I hate doing paperwork and filling in form and taxes period is the most daunting time of a year for me! But keep it up, it's all worthwile in the end! :)
    And as to the combination.. it's perfect! Sometimes when I'm out of the mood i wear osmehting 'neutral' with bright pink lipstick and people just are like 'what the heck...' but it doesnt matter, because it's all about how fun and bubbly you feel! I really like it!

And I think I know what you might be reffering to as such - it's just a photo effect, it happens. I love the picture! And I adore this lip color on you, not many can pull it off! And I like how it works with this outfit - adds such a nice gentle feminine touch :) I looked through your older posts too, and I need to say I like your style, so office perfect yet not boring at all. Loved the Tods helmets too! It was a cute post :)

    Don't worry about the yellow teeth aspect, I have the least white teeth on the planet (too scared to try whitener!!) and my teeth look fine in this lipstick. I went to Sephora and tried on a bunch, they all made me look yellow teeth, or too thick. This one is a gloss stick, applied with a brush, it has an earth undertone, which helps when trying to disguise less than perfect teeth :) Good Luck!
